What’s in a name?
SDG represents the Latin
term Soli Deo Gloria, meaning Glory to
God Alone. These words can be traced back as early
as 1776 as the motto of the Ursuline Sisters. It also
has great personal meaning to each of the founding
partners. They are faith-filled advisors rooted in the charism of St. Angela and the spirit of Mother Marie
Sands.
The three parts of the spiral logo are meant to resemble
an ancient Celtic symbol related to the sun, afterlife
and reincarnation. SDG Advisors represents the
reinvention of two women and their ministries. The
ministry of the business is to reincarnate and
reinvigorate Catholic education. |
